Hey guys, how was your May 2020? Yes, we are already six months into 2020 and it has been a difficult year, to say the least. But on the brighter side, we are surviving it and proving ourselves better? So that is good right?
No? Okay I am giving up. 2020 sucks and how was May any different?

In some ways this feels like the longest six months. What a year it has been so far. I am not sure I want to know what is coming around the bend in the next six months. Haha. But yes, so far we have survived. The virus numbers are on the rise again as everything re-opens. Then there are the protests and call for much needed change. My friends and I joke that we are living history right now–and in many ways it is probably true.
I really want to see Dead to Me S2. How was it? I really liked the first season. I thought my husband might, but I don’t think he was impressed. Oh well. He is so picky when it comes to books and television. I’m more easily entertained.
I hope you have a wonderful June, Gayathri.
I totally agree when you say WE ARE CREATING AND LIVING HISTORY NOW. I didnt like Dead to me S2 as much as I did the S1.
I love your Instagram posts. I wish I lived near a beach. I hope you’re having a good June!
Thank you!
I love your pictures on Instagram! Here in Michigan, we’re just starting to have looser restrictions after more than two months. I keep meaning to watch the next season of Dead to Me, and the next season of Good Girls – thanks for the reminder 🙂 Enjoy your week!
Thank you. I hope you are staying safe.
Glad things are getting back to normal. Things are obviously not normal here right now in the US but hoping good things come out of it. and as always the virus is such a big unknown. We’re opening up quite a bit here and n one’s really sure what the result of that is gonna be.
Scooby Doo sounds fun. 🙂
Love the pics as usual!
I really hope people stay sensible and inside for as long as it takes.
2020 definitely has been difficult and continues to be. Such insanity here in the US. Violence from the people who are sworn to protect, but also there are ones using the protests of injustice to loot and destroy. Doesn’t help that the US has a thoroughly bad example in office as leader. I had to change the channel this weekend and disconnect.
Your instagram photos are gorgeous! Have a great week! 🙂
Yes 2020 sucks. And the nations are fighting for the worst awards.
Beautiful instagram photos!
2020 has definitely been a trying year for us all. Hopefully something positive will happen soon… the rainbow at the end of a storm and all that.
Have a great week!
Thank you. I hope your words turn true.
I am loving The Flatshare so far.
Thanks for visiting my blog, and for sharing your books and moments.
Stay safe!
I am looking forward to your review.
Yes!! 2020 is a very strange year. But I’m trying to see things positive.. I definitely appreciate the little things much more.
Those Instagram photos are gorgeous!
Stay safe and happy reading.
Thank you. You stay safe too.
Hey Gayathri, my May has been pretty much like my April, except with much better weather! I have enjoyed a lot of reading and sunbathing in the garden 😎 and the restrictions have slowly started to be ease here in the UK. We can now meet up with one other person outdoors, so I enjoyed a lovely social distanced picnic with a friend in a local park. Take care, happy reading and here’s to an even better June! 😃
Here’s my Sunday post: https://thebookwormchronicles.wordpress.com/2020/06/07/sunday-reflection-7th-june-2020/ 🙂
Stay Safe, Jess!
