Wordle & a busy week: Sunday Musings #128

How did you find this week’s Wordle? I have been doing Wordle, the word puzzle right from the beginning of the year and I still at it. I even got the senior members of my family involved, so every day we have a little competition (friendly?) sort of thing going on our Whatsapp family group. I think it is very wholesome and proud that they mostly figure the word out. Not bad at all, right/

I have been trying to get into a schedule with the new work timing but it has been hard. I have a half written review, 200 pages book stopped midway and my closet in a mess – all for want of some attention. I need to get this quickly under control right?

I visited our library yesterday and met a couple of friends after that for a coffee. After a full week at work, I definitely needed that break.

What I read this week

Like I mentioned, I have been reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote for more than a week now and have not progressed at all. Would this be a better week?

I hope so because I have two amazing books that I have brought the library and want to read them too. Fingers crossed.

What I watched this week

This week had been a blur between weekends, and I can barely remember the weeknights. I have had some random episodes from Friends, Brooklyn 99 running as background noise.

I will be linking today’s post with Caffeinated reviewer’s Sunday post Meme.

I haven’t heard about wordle before. I’ll definitely go check it out.
I hope your reading will be better this week. It’s really a struggle at times right?
Have a great week and happy reading.

I’m enjoying Wordle. Having a big vocabulary may be a detriment because I can think of too many words to fit a set of letters sometimes, lol! I also play Sodoku . I keep trying to knock off my projects but there are many daily tasks and new projects keep popping up. I read more than watching anything.

I think it is a common problem with readers. I am glad you enjoy it!

I love Wordle. I do it every day as well. I enjoyed this week’s words. 🙂 I also like to play Quordle, which is Wordle with four words, and Worldle, which is Wordle but with maps of the world countries.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!

I’m terrible at Wordle but word puzzles are always awful for me. I prefer word searches, fill ins, and sudoku puzzles. Sounds like we have a lot in common my closet is a mess and every time I open the door it makes me cringe and shut the door lol. I hope you make some headway with your book I’ve not heard of it before. maybe it will get better. Have a great week! Happy reading!

Do not remind of the closet. Sadly, it is still a mess!

We have been catching up on Brooklyn 99! I go to the library for my son to get books for him otherwise I use my library app. I have had my electronic library book for a couple of weeks now so it is slow progress!

Hope you have had a great weekend!

I love Brooklyn Nine Nine! I am kinda like you, I’ll have The Office or Big Bang Theory reruns on in the background when I’m doing things. I do Wordle too, but am not that great. The best I’ve ever gotten is in 3 guesses I think. But I still play every day. Have a great week!

3 guesses on Wordle are such great days for me. I am always at 4/6!

I haven’t been reading much at all lately, I just feel too drained.

It’s weird how weeks can be a jumbled mess sometimes where I can’t seem to get on top of as little as 3 things, and then other weeks just flow and I get a million things done.

You put it so well. I totally agree.

In Cold Blood is a difficult book to read, IMO. I actually preferred the movie.

I keep seeing lots of people using Wordle…but I am avoiding it, as I don’t need to get hooked on one more thing! LOL

    Enjoy your week.

Yes I think it is cool that the older ones of the family enjoy it too.

I do play wordle. Nothing really stuck out to me about it this week. I solved them all, although it took six guesses a few times to do it. I also play antiwordle every day. There, you are trying NOT to guess the five letter word. You get as many guesses as you need, and you keep going until you get it.

Antiwordle is new to me. Let me try it today. Thanks for the rec!
